At the first H1B visa petition, my employer designated a lawyer who was the top in the state, but unfortunately, she wasn’t the top to me. The main problem was the difficulties to communicate with the lawyer timely and precisely. Moreover, after failure in the H1B lottery, she didn't care about anything for my continued employment. I asked my employer to reapply and to find another attorney who I could trust and communicate smoothly. My friend who knew my difficulties recommended me Ms. Judy Chang, and I made phone call for consultation. We talked for only 30 minutes, but it was enough time to understand the process, which I could never get from the previous lawyer. Although I wasn't chosen again on the H1B lottery, there was no regret because Ms. Chang dealt with my petition and my questions accurately and fast. Especially, I appreciated her endeavor and consideration, to the very end as she suggested my employer what options were besides H1B petition. The opportunity to realize the true worth of Ms. Chang and her team came through my F-1 reinstatement. I was still F-1 status due to failure in H1B petition, and I requested transfer out to another school to pursue my advanced degree. The school which hold my I-20 completed my studying in the U.S. without notification, so my status became out of state. There were serious issues between the PDSO of the previous school and me, but it would not be hard to get reinstatement if the PDSO didn't write incorrect facts on her letter which should be submitted to USCIS. USCIS requested me additional evidences why it was out of my control. By then, the case became more and more complicated because I mistook to ask it to the new school as I agreed with their opinion, which F-1 reinstatement isn't a difficult thing. However, I overlooked that there was the uncooperative PDSO of the previous school, and the new school couldn’t take care of my case professionally and organizationally. USCIS denied my reinstatement application finally, and I asked Ms. Chang clutching at straws. In spite of time limit, Ms. Chang processed it fast, through ‘Motion to Reopen/Consider’ as writing long statement of seven pages and as gathering other evidences. USCIS accepted our appeals to reopen my case, but requested again additional evidences. USCIS gave us 33 days, but I checked the notice late, so we had only 20 days. I wanted to put everything behind me, and to go back to my country. I was exhausted too much, so it was a tough time emotionally. However, I encouraged myself and believed, ‘There is a hope if Ms. Change takes care of it’. From this, I experienced their great team work. To deal with the urgent and difficult situation, one more attorney, Ms. Sooaa Son at J Global Law Group went into my case. I prepared supporting documents/letters under their instructions, and they went over them and wrote additional statement. They did check and discuss everything with me even if it looked like a relatively insignificant part. They completed submission 3 days earlier, and USCIS approved my case right on the deadline. You can find many testimonials including mine to prove their accuracy, professionalism, fast response, great team work, and smooth communication. It’s not easy to find a team that has all these factors, but J Global Law Group has one more great value. It is that they sincerely consider clients’ situation. When it was really urgent, they checked and replied to my questions even at night. They also encouraged me whenever I wanted to give up everything. I heard later from Ms. Son that Ms. Chang struggled hardly to find a way for the approval, and I clearly remember her congratulatory message, “Be strong!” I also felt that Ms. Son was so pleased with the approval more than I did. I am so grateful to meet this team and to make a new start for my goal in the U.S. I want to say again, thank the team, especially, Ms. Judy Chang and Ms. Sooaa Son.
