After seeing that the restaurant was not very busy looking and they had a brunch menu advertised on the chalkboard outside as well as written on the wall of the building we went inside. They had outdoor seating which was pretty full and only two tables were sat at inside. Other than that it wasn't crowded. I saw the brunch menu on a table near where we waited to be seated and I was very excited. We sat down outside and the manager actually sat us down and we asked to see the brunch menu which she hadn't given us. Then she proceeded to say that they weren't doing brunch anymore because it was too busy... we were very confused because the restaurant really wasn't full and they weren't really hustling around or anything like that. Then once she walked away, the table right next to us were in the middle of ordering breakfast items from the brunch menu we saw in their hands. Confusing. Then the manager came back out and said, oh actually I talked to the kitchen and they're deciding to serve you the brunch menu. So we really should have left at that point. It should have been the cue. I ordered the Argentinian empanadas which didn't have any description on it besides that there were 2 beef ones. And they should have mentioned on the menu that they were stuffed with 90% olives because every bite tasted like olives and barely any beef. So I asked to please have a different item instead of that because it really wasn't tasting good to me and the waitress brought my plate back and said, oh you already took a bite so we can't take it back or give you your money back you just have to buy another set of empanadas on top of the one that they just gave me. So, I said nevermind I just don't want them. Then, 10 minutes later she brought out the new empanadas that I asked for after the Argentinian ones. I started to eat them but to my surprise the middle was refrigerator cold. When the manager came back to the table, I explained to her that I didn't eat them because they were very cold. I would just take them home and reheat. She apologized and just said she would take it off my bill. After waiting 40 more minutes, our food finally came which was extremely underwhelming and not at all what was described in the menu. We just ate in silence and really just wanted to leave. After our meals were finished, the manager brought out yet another plate of empanadas for me and I told her that I was already full and I said I didn't want them. She said they were free and she would wrap them up for me. They brought us the bill which was fine and we asked to split it...which of course they did so wrong it was laughable. My sister was waiting to have her food wrapped up but they never even asked. I had to find someone to get a box from to wrap it up. I think the waitresses are a little inexperienced and the establishment is understaffed or something because they could not get anything right or get it together. The waitresses where balls of confusion and full of the excuse that it was extra busy when the tables were not anywhere near full inside or outside. They couldn't even keep our water glasses filled. Save your money and go to the pop shop or something down the street.
