The new management sucks. When The Point assumed ownership of the apartments from Avalon Bay, they started charge additional fees to residents that had leases under the The Avalon. These fees were $2.76 administration fees, basically a fee because for paying the rent and a fee on the water bill. Nowhere in my lease with the Avalon did it mention these fees. I've contacted the apartment management for the last 6 weeks and they keep on giving me the run around telling me that there always was a fee but it was buried in the charges and for their book keeping they need to segregate the amounts, this is B.S. They also don't return phone calls nor do they get back to you when promised. They cannot unilateral impose new fees just because they want to. My suggestion is find someplace else to live, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
