My wife and I recently came in to shop for a John Deere Lawn Tractor. We walked in and were immediately greated by a receptionist regarding our needs. Within minutes Rick, the sale manager was there to talk with us and and give basic advice of our needs as opposed to our wants. I advised we had pre-approved credit (as a tool to distinguish our want to want to purchase). We are not commercial farmers or landscapers but residential home owners with property. Without sounding detrimental to his bottom line he talked me out of a tractor that was $600 more. In turn I purchased $500 more in accessories with no questions asked. We added a 17p trailer and Stihl FS90 trimmer. He was kind enough to wheel two tractors off of the show room to allow me to test drive. He didn't have the model we agreed to on the showroom yet rushed his people to get one ready to run. He walked my wife and I out to the shop with utmost courtesy and put me on the model I purchased. I must say it was the lowest pressure big dollar purchase I have made. Kudos to to the sales manager. Great experience and a lifetime customer. Thank you!
